Jay Longino, CRNFA is the first assistant to Dr. Smith and more than a nurse on any scale. Jay is a certified first assistant as well as a registered nurse. He has extensive experience in Orthopaedic Surgery and has scrubbed with Dr. Smith on thousands of surgical cases. He is qualified to serve our patients on a very high level. Jay will be your primary contact about scheduling surgery and about pre and post operative instructions. The office hours for the clinic are from 8:30 until 5:00 on Monday and Wednesday. Jay is available to answer your questions during this time. When you come to the office for the first or anytime, Jay will usually visit with you about one thing or another. He is great at answering questions and tries to make it easy for you to understand all of the different steps that are needed in order to try to get you to the finish line of your problem.
